I would like to place a custom order for two watch straps for my Cartier Santos Dumont (Small Size). My main goal is for these straps to look as close to the original Cartier factory straps as possible in terms of leather texture, profile, and inner stamping.
Here are the exact specifications:
Quantity & Colors: 2 straps in total (1x Black, 1x Brown).
Leather Type: Crocodile leather with square scales (to match the classic Cartier look).
Measurements (Very Important):
Lug width: 15.5 mm.
Buckle width: Tapered to fit the standard Cartier tang/pin buckle (usually 14 mm).
Length: My wrist size is 18 cm to 18.5 cm. My current strap is 20 cm in total length, and it is too short (I have to use the very last hole). Please make these straps long enough (e.g., 125/85mm or your recommended custom length) so that the buckle sits perfectly in the middle hole.
Padding & Profile: Cartier style padding (padded and thicker near the watch lugs, tapering down to a flat, thinner profile at the tail end).
Spring Bars: Quick Release Spring Bars (QRSB) on both straps.
Tail End & Keepers: Classic rounded tail end (Cartier style). Since I am using a standard pin/tang buckle, please include the 2 standard leather keepers.
Personalization / Stamping (Crucial request): I want the back of the straps to look identical to the original. Can you hot stamp the exact “Cartier” logo font and the standard serial numbers on the inside lining? I have attached photos of the original Cartier strap for your reference so you can see the exact layout of the text and numbers.
